My youngest son, while painting together, asked if there were actually “Zebra Cakes” inside the painted box I was still struggling with. He said he would be maaaad if there weren’t. Eventually, to partly prove there were, the painting was placed in our usual kitchen goodie spot. He seemed a bit disappointed that I had actually opened up the box/painting, but quickly got distracted once he could take out a package of the little cakes to munch on.
