Jerrome Jacobo installed and left at UPS Store, 11 South Angell Street, Providence, Rhode Island.
For once, I requested permission to install and leave a painting in a public venue; or rather, if I could leave “something” on the bulletin board. The gentleman replied so long as it was for non-profit — and that actually got me baffled for a second. His response has made me question my motives. There is no direct monetary exchange for me by leaving my artworks in such public spaces, but is it still profitable for me to do so, at least in the long run and/or through some other measure? What is profitable? What is success? Merely, I have an obligation to share these works. Sharing is caring and if you r not sharing u r not caring.
